NACC trains attorneys who represent children, parents, or agencies in child welfare law proceedings.
Legal professionals must know and follow federal and state child welfare law, understand trauma and systemic racism, protect children’s and parents’ rights, ensure clients’ voices are heard, overcome bias, provide zealous representation, and pursue justice. They need to be well-versed, well-resourced, and well-trained. NACC delivers legal training in-person across the country and online.
NACC’S Training Opportunities
NACC’s signature online Red Book Training Course is an opportunity for practitioners to brush up on their knowledge of federal child welfare law and learn how to enhance their representation of children, parents, or the agency.
NACC offers high-quality training courses to child welfare law professionals around the country. Check out our Live Training page for more information, as well as a sampling of available trainings.
NACC works with states and local jurisdictions to customize trainings that cover federal and state law. The goal of a custom, state-specific course is to support high-quality legal representation for children, parents, and agencies.
