Online Red Book Training Course – Fall 2023

September 5, 2023 - October 24, 2023

$300.00

Tuesdays, September 5 – October 24

3:00 – 4:30pm MDT

The Red Book Training Course is an exciting opportunity for practitioners to brush up on their knowledge of federal child welfare law and learn tips to enhance their representation of children, parents, or the agency. The course covers major dependency practice competency areas and includes exam preparation strategies and tools for those intending to become certified Child Welfare Law Specialists. The material covered in the course is drawn from Child Welfare Law and Practice: Representing Children, Parents, and Agencies in Neglect, Abuse, and Dependency Cases (4th Edition). The course is intended to assist you in breaking the material down, focusing on important concepts, and guiding you through the material in the Red Book. This course will not cover every part of every chapter. The instructor has made intentional decisions about what information to cover in the time that is allotted for the course. If part of a chapter is not covered, that does not mean that content will not appear on the exam. Therefore, you should incorporate any parts that are not covered into your self-study plans.
