Exploring Compassion and Connection through Nature

August 11 @ 6:00 pm - 8:30 pm MDT

Free

Craving some time outside to breathe in the fresh mountain air and connect to nature? Research shows that being in nature has many positive benefits, including reduced stress and cortisol levels, increased feelings of calmness, increase in empathy and compassion, enhanced learning and concentration, and improved creativity, problem-solving and overall well-being.

Join us for an evening of light hiking (one hour) in nature and connection with fellow colleagues. Two hiking trail options are available for you to choose from: one is more intense with a higher elevation gain for experienced hikers and the other is more level for beginners or those looking for a more laid-back experience.

A box dinner and beverage will be provided. This is a free, limited-capacity event sponsored by Casey Family Programs.
