2024 Career Fair – Employer Registration

Join NACC’s 2nd annual Child Welfare Law Career Fair! The Career Fair promotes positions in child welfare law offices and agencies for law students, recent grads, and persons with lived experience in foster care. Additionally, the Career Fair offers the opportunity to network with NACC members and law office leaders across the country. This event is majority table-talk with the opportunity for all participants/employers to schedule their own interviews.

Employer Registration – Regular: $50 per booth
Employer Registration – Late (starting July 1): $75 per booth 

Only one ticket is needed per booth. Each booth may have up to three booth personnel.  

The final deadline for employers to register for the Career Fair is July 31, 2024. 

Prior to the career fair, NACC will provide your booth personnel a list of students/prospective candidates who have registered for the career fair. Networking, resume-swapping, and scheduling interviews will occur during the Sunday 2:00PM – 5:00PM open house.   

To participate in the career fair as an employer, please purchase a ticket and complete the form to reserve a table. We will ask for information including: What positions you are recruiting for (roles may include investigator, peer advocate, social worker, attorney, fellow, interns) as well as any links to online job posts; what state the position is located; and if the position is remote, hybrid, etc.

Included in your Career Fair reservation is a 6-foot table with a tablecloth and two chairs. As we get closer to the event, you will receive an email with all the information you will need to be prepared including travel information, a roster of registered attendees and their contact information, and on-site instructions. Organizations who wish to schedule interviews in advance of the event will be responsible for scheduling their own interviews with candidates, collecting resumes, etc.

Transportation from Airport to Hotel

The Airport to TRAX station is located on the ground level outside the terminal on the east side. Passengers should exit door 1A and go east. One-way fare for the train is $2.50. Take the train (Green Line) to Gallivan Plaza Station – the Hyatt Regency is one block away!

The NACC Career Fair is a pre-conference event. We also invite you to join us at NACC’s 47th National Child Welfare Law Conference from August 12-14. You must purchase a dual conference registration to attend the NACC conference from August 12-14.  Interviews and networking can continue during exhibiting hours throughout the conference August 12-14, Monday through Wednesday, for individuals who are registered for the full conference.
