NACC Joins Sign-On Letters
- NACC submitted written comment to the House Ways and Means Committee regarding the hearing, “Leaving the Sticky Notes Behind: Harnessing Innovation and New Technology to Help America’s Foster Youth Succeed.”
- NACC supported a resolution to designate November 2025 as “National Homeless Children and Youth Awareness Month.”
- NACC supported the Protecting Health Care and Lowering Costs Act: The act would protect access to health coverage and care.
- NACC supported the Upholding Protections for Unaccompanied Children Act of 2025: The act would exempt unaccompanied children from burdensome fees imposed under the “One Big Beautiful Bill Act” and reappeal other previsions that threaten these children’s safety.
- Illegal Transferring of Key Roles and Responsibilities from the U.S. Department of Education: NACC joined a joint statement denouncing the Trump administration’s announcement to unlawfully transfer authority of critical offices and responsibilities across the U.S. Department of Education to other federal agencies.
- Full Service Community Schools: NACC joined a sign-on letter encouraging Congress to fund the Full-Service Community Schools Program at $135 million in the Fiscal Year 2026 appropriations bill.
- Children’s Budget Coalition Letter: This letter encourages party leaders to reaffirm Congress’s constitutional authority over federal spending to safeguard the programs and services that give every child a fair chance to thrive.

- In the Matter of Liam M. et. al. v. ACS: NACC joined an amicus brief arguing against unnecessary and unlawful family surveillance in a matter with alleged intrafamily violence.

Examples of TA include: campaign strategy planning, communications support, research, talking points, help identifying allies, coalition building, and answering questions from legislators.
