Foundations Child Welfare Law and Practice Training

Foundations of Child Welfare Law and Practice is NACC’s signature training, designed to provide a comprehensive overview of child welfare law, and to help attorneys improve their practice and prepare for the Child Welfare Law Specialist certification exam.

NACC offers its signature Foundations training course in three different formats: Live Online, Asynchronous Online, and In-Person. Each format contains the same content, based on NACC’s cornerstone publication: Child Welfare Law & Practice (4th Edition).

Foundations of Child Welfare Law and Practice – Live Online Training

NACC typically delivers its Foundations training in the Live Online format once or twice a year. Participants meet in weekly, 1.5-hour online sessions over the course of approximately two months.

Foundations of Child Welfare Law and Practice – Asynchronous Online Training

NACC offers its Foundations course on a rolling basis in an asynchronous online format. Improve your practice on your schedule.

Foundations of Child Welfare Law and Practice – In-Person Pre-Conference Training

NACC also typically offers its signature Foundations training as a full-day session the day before its annual conference.
