Recognizing 50 Years of Impact. Investing in the Future of Legal Advocacy for Children and Families
August 6, 2027
When a child’s future is before the court, the quality of their legal representation can shape the outcome. Every child and parent deserves a skilled lawyer who will stand beside them, elevate their voice, and protect their rights. For 50 years, NACC has worked to establish and strengthen access to counsel, ensuring that the rights of children and families are recognized, protected, and championed.
Founded in 1977, NACC led the evolution of children’s law from a cause to a profession by establishing child welfare as a specialty practice requiring distinctive training, skills, and support. Today, NACC helps lawyers provide quality legal representation to children, parents, and agencies, and advances policies that protect the rights of children, youth, and parents experiencing the child welfare system.
Our 50th Anniversary is more than a celebration; it marks a significant milestone in the field’s growth from a profession to a movement.
A National Community. A Milestone Celebration.
The Children’s Justice Gala will be an elegant evening of celebration, storytelling, and community, honoring NACC’s history while investing in the future of justice for children and families. Gala guests will include attorneys, judges, nonprofit and government leaders, policymakers, academics, philanthropic partners, multidiscplinary professionals, young people and professionals with lived experience.
