Children’s Justice Fund Giving Catalogue
The Children’s Justice Fund’s Giving Catalogue brings together children’s law offices from across the country to fuel protection of the rights and wellbeing of children experiencing the child welfare system.
DENVER, CO. – Amidst critical threats to the wellbeing of children, the National Association of Counsel for Children is bringing together children’s law offices through the Children’s Justice Fund to protect the rights of kids experiencing the child welfare system. The groundbreaking initiative strengthens the children’s legal advocacy community’s ability to uplift the rights and futures of children despite challenges to their rights and programs that support their health and wellbeing. All participating organizations advance the rights of children in foster care through legal representation, training, and legislative advocacy.
NACC launched the Children’s Justice Fund in May 2025. This new partnership expands the fund’s reach and provides more opportunities for people to support organizations helping kids in their region and across the country.
“It took a long time to advance the rights of children in America,” said Kim Dvorchak, NACC’s CEO. “Now that we have momentum, we’re moving forward—stronger, louder, and more unified than ever. Every child deserves a voice and every child deserves justice. We’re coming together to make that a reality.”
The Children’s Justice Fund Giving Catalogue supports a consortium of organizations dedicated to advancing legal zealous advocacy for children. Together, we can build a future where every child’s rights are not only preserved but realized.
“Through our Juvenile Rights Practice at The Legal Aid Society, we see every day how critical it is that young people have powerful, independent advocates in their corner. By joining with NACC and children’s law offices across the country through the Children’s Justice Fund, we are building a united front to protect children’s rights, amplify their voices, and safeguard their wellbeing in the face of mounting threats,” said Dawne Mitchell, Attorney-in-Charge, Juvenile Rights Practice, The Legal Aid Society. “Together, we can ensure that every child has the chance not just to be heard, but to thrive.”
“Our work is vital to ensuring that children have a voice in every life-changing decision made about them and that they are able to thrive–not just survive–while experiencing the child welfare system,” said Tara Grigg Green, Co-Founder and Executive Director, Foster Care Advocacy Center.
